Export timesheet to Excel??

How have people been exporting timesheet info. to Excel when they have
enterprise fields set like billing codes? I have a system with 10 projects
but they all have a common enterprise (Task) field "Billing Codes" which
are associated with the tasks. I was hoping to use timesheet approval page
but I can not add fields to that page. Another possiblitiy was to use the
portfolio analysis, but only resource enterprise fields can be added there.
I wanted 1 consolidated report. Now I have to have each PM export their
project's timesheet info. through Proj. Prof. and then consolidate 10
reports. Yuk!!

You can modify the Timesheet to include your enterprise text field. Assuming
that you have Admin rights to manage views in PWA, the Timesheet view is at
the very bottom of the list of views. You can open the view and add the
field to the timesheet.

If you add it to an assignment view, you can use the "View Assignments"
feature in the Resource Center to open the timesheets of more than one user
at a time and even regroup the tasks by billing code.

The Assignment view is a great solution. It will do what I want except the
enterprise fields that I selected "Enterprise Task Outline Code1" and
"Enterprise Task Text1" are empty on the assignment view. In Proj. Prof.
they are populated fine. They are also empty on the timesheet view as well.

Dean,
You need to add the enterprise field(s) to the timesheet in Project Pro
- Tools > Customize > Publish Fields using the bottom part of the
Custom Publish Fields dialog window. Also, the Administrator needs to
add the field(s) to the timesheet view in PWA > Admin > Manage Views >
Timesheet view.

Gene, I just added them to the Publish Fields, Global and local. ( Is that
what you meant as far as adding timesheet in Proj. Pro.? ) They are also
added to the PWA timesheet. They are still empyt. What am I missing?
