Export to html

I am trying to do an export to an xml file and I get the
following on the first line:
- <dataroot xmlnsd="urn:schemas-microsoft-
comfficedata" generated="2004-10-05T10:41:13">

and I get </dataroot> at the end.

I need that to say "collection" where it now says
dataroot. Can anyone please help me?? I am a newbie to
exporting to xml.
