Export Visio 2007 to Word 2007 as editable shapes

I have Visio 2007 and need to create a flowchart that can be edited by
Word 2007 users.

Is it possible to create the chart in Visio then export it as a
collection of objects that I can paste into Word so that they are
individually editable?

I don't mind if for example the connectors just become ordinary lines.
