Exported address book to Outlook 2002...can't send messages

I exported my OE address book to Outlook 2002 and now when I try to click
the "To.." button, it gives me some error about a LDAP directory or
something. So I scanned several posts here and one of 'em said something
about removing that. So I did, now it says "address list could not be
displayed mapi e call failed.

OE was so easy to use, and Outlook has been nothing but headaches, but I
have to use it because I recently got a pocket PC which demands that I use
Outlook.

Any help will be greatly appreciated since I'm having to send emails from
the old reliable OE.

After you removed th LDAP, did you add and configure the Outlook Address
Book? That's what you need to do.
