Exporting .csv into mail program database

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Exporting one column of email addresses via required .csv file into Go Daddy Mail Program. Considers all of the emails to be one contact not separate contacts. If I don't select box for first row (header) before uploading then it doesn't pick up any of the email addresses.

The same file can be uploaded by PCs on their end without any problems and as different contacts. I have tried both safari and firefox as well as two different MACs - same problem.

Am I entering the info incorrectly into file (entry, hit return, next row same column) or is it something on their end they need to code their database to look for from excel .csv files from MAC? Perhaps something else entirely?

Sounds like its their problem. Excel Knows how to create .csv files and
these file work fine with many applications.

You might try using either the Windows CSV or DOS CSV format you'll find
further down in the Save As list of file formats. It 'shouldn't' make any
difference, but it might. FWIW, though, I agree with Bob G that it's a Go
Daddy issue.

Thank you both for responding so quickly. As it turns out, I tried saving as a Windows CSV file as opposed to just a CSV file and it worked!!

Thanks a bunch - I'll pass along the solution to Go Daddy for future MAC users.
