exporting data Run-time error '3027':

Hi,
Access 97/ Win2000 - When exporting data as text with non
standard tesxt extensions I get this error:
Run-time error '3027':
Can't update. Database or object is read-only.
I've tried changing the registry;
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Jet\3.5\Engines\Text
DisabledExtensions
By including my needed extensions:
!txt,csv,tab,asc,htm,html,bch,smp,tst,res

This only seems to help when I add only one addition to
the defaults (!txt,csv,tab,asc,htm,html).

Is there a limit on # of allowable extensions ?
Im I doing something wrong ?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
