Exporting fields from Infopath to Excel

I have a pre-exisiting form which does what I want it to, but I'm wondering
if it's possible to export the information into an Excel spreadsheet, ideally
specific fields that I desire. I'm teaching myself how to use IP as I go, so
the answer may be obvious but I can't figure it out so any help would be
appreciated.

Which Version of IP you are using 2003 or 2007?

If you are using IP 2007 form then you can follow the below steps.
1. open the IP form from which you want to exroprt the data
2. File -> Export To -> Microsift Office Excel...
3. Click on "Next" in the Export to Excel Wizard that displayed.
4. select "Only form data in current view Except tables and lists" radio
button and click Next.
5. Uncheck those fields which you are not willing to export to Excel and
Click on Finish.
