What will be the future development of Access in light of .NET framework?
Recently I have started learning VB.NET and have a feeeling that VBA and
VB.NET are quite different...

Yes, they're very different. I have no real knowledge of when .Net will be
brought into Office. As far as I know, the next version of Office will still
be VBA based.
