Exporting in Microsoft Access

I am doing an exam for an ITS class in college where I am asked to export a
data table from Excel into Access in able to export it into a .dbf4 ( dBASE
IV in access) so i am able to use in a GIS program. When I try to export the
table I get an error message that says "The table 'Sheet0' is already opened
exclusively by another user, or it is already open through the user interface
and cannot be manipulated programmatically." I have tried renaming it, and i
have tried closing everything and reopining it. I'm not exactly sure what it
means, so if you know whats wrong I am in desperate need seeing as the exam
is due tomorrow morning.

You can import the sheet into Access, but I think your assignment requires
you to use Excel to do the exporting. If you're getting this error while
*in* Excel you should post your question in an Excel group if you want a
quicker answer.
