EXPORTING MS PROJECT TIMEPHASED DATA

The problem I'm trying to solve, I would think would be of interest to many,
and therefore I would have thought Microsoft would have helped automate this
task. The task is to export MS Project timephased data into MS Excel, such
that when a change occurs in MS Project, it automatically changes the data in
Excel. In MS Project I go to the "Resource Usage" view, where I've grouped
the data so that it is in the following order: Company, Resource (name of
individuals), and Task. This way I can see for any given company the rolled
up cost and or hours. Simiarily I also group by: Project, Task Name, and
Resource, so I can see the cost and hours for each "project". I can use the
timephased button on MS Project, but I have to do a lot of formatting in
excel, and I don't think its "linked" so that any changes I make in MS
Project automatically change in the Excel file. Can someone help me, please?
Perhaps this could be done via VBA? I don't know how to do VBA, but perhaps
there are already VBA codes (free or for a price) that I could use? Thanks
in advance! Mike Oberneder
