Exporting Powerpoint Slides to Word

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Is there any way to export PowerPoint slides (intact) to Word - such that they appear as discreet slides? (its easy on PC versions I've used but can't seem to manage it on the Mac version ...am I missing something?)

I'm afraid you aren't missing anything. The feature is not implemented the
same as it is in the Windows version. There is a File> Send To> MS Word
command but you may have already found out it only exports the text from
Title, Subtitle & Bulleted List placeholders -- no graphic elements or
thumbnails of the slides.

Hi,

If you're trying to create handouts or a document to distribute, try use
File > Save As and choose PDF from the Format pop-up.
