Exporting Problems- Entourage 2004

When I try to export my database, I get the following message:

³There was a problem saving one of your messages. Your office database may
be damaged. Start the database utility to verify your database.²

I get a clean bill of health when I verify my database but I rebuild anyway
and still am unable to export. I also am not able to synch my PDA with
Entourage since I started having this problem.

This sounds like a database corruption, regardless of what the Database
Utility is telling you. See if you can follow any of the steps mentioned on
this page:

<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/database/corrupt.html>

You might also want to have a look at the section which reads "manually
export your data".

If you run the Export Folders script it will fail on a folder with
corruption. If it is indeed a problem message, then this might identify the
source. You could export that folder as MBOX file and delete from your
Identity so the assistant will transfer all of your other data.

Usually, it¹s more than one message that¹s causing the problem.

For MBOX files: Run this script on your messages: Export folders (this gets
subfolders too). The script will fail on a folder with corruption.
