exporting properties values from visio workflow diagrams

I am creating a Visio (Workflow) diagram and have defined custom properties
for various shapes. I would like to export the values from the diagram to an
Excel spreadsheet - Is that possible.

I've used the database export wizard to do this sort of thing:
Tools >>
Macros >>
Visio extras >>
Database export wizard

For details, look under "Create a database from shape custom properties" in
Visio's built-in Help.

(I have Visio 2002.)
