Exporting to Excel

I know this maybe in the wrong board but I thought it might be better here.

I have a query that has a constant taken from an unbound text box, so the
whole column has the same number. In the field row I have:

Enq: [forms]![reports]![EnqOut]

I have tried to export the query to Excel but the column is blank. Is it
because it is unbound and what suggestions are there for how I can overcome
it?
