exporting to other computer programs

I need to know if there is a way to export my photos in Microsoft Office
Picture Manager to my HP PhotoEssential program... My computer lost all of
my photos on my HP program but they remained on this MOPM. I prefer using
the HP program so I would appreciate anyones help on resolving my
situation.... Thank you---

I think you'll find that Picture manager doesn't store the pictures within
itself - I think you'll find that it is just a method of manipulating photos
stored normally on your computer in a normal folder.

It merely means your HP program has lost the link to your photos, or their
folder.
Check the options / setup of your HP program

In Picture Manager, if you have selected View, Shortcuts, a panel on the
left will show you the folder the picture shortcut points to. Or, if you
right chick on a picture and select Properties a panel on the right will
give you the path for the picture shortcut. Then, use Windows Explorer to
go the folder where you image files should be and check that they are still
on your hard drive.
