Express import from Outlook on different computer

I've searched and have not found an answer to my exact
problem.

I got a new computer which only has Outlook Express, on
the old one I used Outlook. I've many folders and
subfolders that I need to import to my new Outlook
Express. I've tried the export and have the pst file on
the new computer.
If I try to import that file it tells me...

"Messages cannot be imported from the MAPI client--An
error has occured"

The file is checked as archive and not read only. If I
go to File, Open, it only opens my inbox messages, I have
no options to get it to open other things.

You have to import/export mail into OE on yr old sys, both OL and OE need to
be on same sys.

Thank you so much...worked like a charm. I copied all
the .dbx folders to a shared folder and imported them in
seconds.
