Expression doesn't contain Automation Object

This is a follow up to a previous post "Error 2471" on 2/9. This is the
error message:
"The expression you entered as a query parameter produced this error. The
object doesn't contain the Automation Object
Forms!frmOrderDetails!LoadedDate"
Both controls are on the same subform.
What is the Automation Object? I'm assuming it to be the control that has
the reference data and the contents are not being picked up. Is this
correct? I've been unsuccessful in getting that working and decided I could
handle it another way but this same error is showing up again in another
control. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?
