Good day,
I need an expression that groups on data from a sub-form.
The form I have tracks car mileage for a given day. The master form has
boxes for Date, Odometer start, Odometer End and a text box for an
expression to calculate the difference on the Odometer fields. The subform
is a table for starting and ending odometer at each stage of a given day.
An ID generated by Autonumber and a date act as the Master & Child link
fields.
I thought that this would be quite easy but I'm at best a novice at Access
so it's proving more difficult than first thought.
I'm assuming that I need an expression for the minimum value of mileage on a
given day (the date displayed on the form) which will go in Odometer start
and a maximum value of mileage on a given day which will go in Odometer End.
The expression for calcualting the difference of the other two should not be
that difficult ...I think.
