Expression Not responding?

have downloaded the sample database called ;On Time and How Much Time is
Elapsed from the Access site and i tride to use the
Expression:=HoursAndMinutes([TimeOut]-[TimeIn]) in control source of a
different form on another Database but it didnot work.please guide me to
troubleshoot the problem.
