I saw it when I downloaded the ultimate office 2007 but the price only
shows up on the invoice when buying the item.

I do think that it probably is the price for getting the thing on a cd
as it was $5.95; some may do it as the approx time for downloading is
displayed for the various connection speeds......would be worth it if
on a 56k modem...

Are you referring to the Lock Box option for purchasing a trial version
online? If so then that might depend on if you are purchasing a downloaded
trial version or a trial version that come installed on your computer. I say
"might" because no one really knows how the Lock Box option works. If you
are purchasing a downloaded trial version then I'd definitely select the
option that includes the CD.

However, if you are purchasing the downloaded trial version then I'd
personally go to my favorite retailer instead. In the end you are actually
paying more for the download version (you actually pay more if you choose to
purchase the downloaded trial for the Lock Box option and the installation
CDs than you would going to through your favorite retailer) not to mention
you'll actually know what you are getting if you have the box with the
installation CDs in your hand at the point of sale.

The problem is, JoAnn, you can't read the EULA until after you make the
purchase.

You need to read the EULA that applies to your Office suite to see what
your license allows.
