Extending a trial period

G

Gil

Hi all,

There seems to be a problem in one of the classes I'm taking this semester.
Students were told, prior to class in the Course Information
sheet, that the software was a 120 day trial version. The class is on
Microsoft Project 2007 and really has only a 60 day trial version.

This is obviously causing grief in the class because the only answer given,
even from the instructor, is to work ahead. Since this is a full semester
class, that's asking a lot from students who may be taking full loads.

I'm glad I have the paid for version, but I can sympathize with those who
don't. Does anyone know of a way to extend the trial license to 120 days or
use another legal means for this "problem"?

Thanks
Gil

There surely is not a way via this newsgroup. If I were you I would
suggest that you urge the instructor to make contact with Microsoft via
your university.

The academic version of Project 2007 is in the $60 US range, less than the
cost of most of your textbooks I'd wager.
