Hi,
I am about to have my first attempt st extending the
OLAP cube on a live version of MSP 2002 Server. I delve
read the documentation that is included on the SDK
entitled 'Extending OLAP Cusbe Services in MSP server',
but I just a few other small issue that I would like to
double check first. So if anyone can help that would be
great.
Firstly would anyone recommend any other documentation or
can you warn of any potential pitfalls of following the
SDK document?
Secondly - Should I look to back up anything from with
Analysis Services? If so how would I go about this. I am
not sure if this is neccessary but like I say it is a
live Db and it works ok at the minute.
When compiling VB code to make a DLL, how does this
differ from a non VB compilation to an .exe
And finally Does anyone have any instructions on
how/where DLL needs to be registered
