OLAP cubes - no task information

Hi Guru's,

I am working on Project Server 2007 and have SQL server 2005- analysis services 2005 with all the relevant service packs installed.

I built the OLAP cubes and realised that it contains no task information like: "% complete" or "Estimated duration" (in days). I also have built a custom field that tells me if the task is behind schedule, however i cannot see this in the data analysis view or in the cubes!

Could you please tell me how i can extend the cubes to hold this information? I really need reports related to task information from the proejct plan/s.

Hi Amara,

The cubes generally only contain cost and work measures regarding a project,
so you wont be able to view duration out of the box. ( which is sensible
since it doesnt always makes sense to accumulate duration and that is
essentially what Cubes do).

Anyway, you do have the abillity to extend the cube with all your custom
fields (under server settings > configuration ). Further to this you can
also extend the cube programatically. If you check out the Project Server SDK
you will find some examples
