Exteral Keypad for Notebook doesn't work properly with excel 2003

I am using a Toshiba Tecra notebook with an external Targus numeric keypad.
Up until a few dys ago, I was running Office 2000. I upgraded to 2003 and
when in Excel I try to data entry a negative number the minus on the
external kepad doesn't work. The other numbers work fine.

Has anybody come accross this?

Thanks for that.

I have tried ot look for the drivers, but have had no luck. I think XP
should have these drivers, but I am not sure which drivers to install.

Any help wold be much appreciated.

Excel has a habit of trashing previously installed drivers, try
re-installing the drivers for the external number pad
