External Emails

I am trying to request project information from MS Project 2007 by sending
out emails. All internal users receive the email but external addresses such
as gmail or hotmail do not get the email. There is no error message and I
dont see any logs.

Is your mail server configured for relay ?

Is the project server service account using a valid alias ?

Check the logs on the mail server to see why the mails are being dropped.

external users need to part of the AD forest..once inserted there , it should
not be a problem
