External link rows not showing in project pro

Hello was curious if anyone has seen this before and has an idea on the "why"
it is occurring.

Have a master project (PS 2007) that has many external links. When viewing
within Project Pro a majority of the external links can be seen as lines with
grey text (all can be viewed correctly in the predecessor column) Any idea
why some lines for external links do not show?

In some cases if you minimized and then expanded the summary line that
includes the task underneath it, the external link row will show, but have a
lot that do not.

One thought on my end that it could be an issue with corrupt files. It is
my understanding that some of these projects were originally created in 2003
before I came on board.

Any thoughts or insights, greatly appreciated.

Either the linked plan is open or the external links were not accepted by
Plan owner.

Thanks for the reply Gaurav, but what do you mean by "accepted by the plan
owner?"

When you create a external link to another project? The owner of that project
need to accept those links. The dialog box that let the manager know that a
new link has been created.
