When I insert a picture into a message it shows up as an attachment, how do I disconnect this feature?

Make sure you are creating a message in HTML format and use Insert->
Picture...
To check your default format;
Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Format

I have been creating my messages in HTML and use Word to edit email messages.

I really noticed the problem when I created an email with one logo in the message body, deleted it , then inserted a different logo and they both showed up in the attachment bar. Whenever I send an email message with anything other than just text, a .gif of the image is attached as well as inserted. I use Insert>Picture>From File.
