Extract Text From Slides

Sorry if this is the millionth time this question has been asked, but I need
to extract the text from PowerPoint Slides in connection with my work as a
translator.

I searched the internet, but didn't find anything except one software
package for almost a thousand dollars.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Echo S

File | Send to | Word will give you an outline option. This only works for
text in placeholders, though.
