Extract the content as Text from BMP or Image file?

you have to use an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) application.
Microsoft Office 2003 has Document Scanning/Imaging included which may do
this function.

You should insert the bitmap to a Word document, file-print it to Office
Document Image Writer and do the OCR from there, which should return the
text to Word.

ALthough, I donot have Image Writer Installed presently, But I am sure, it
will work.
