extracting background picture in PowerPoint

I've received a PowerPoint presentation with a photograph inserted as
background. How can I get the photograph back out to use elsewhere?
Thank you.

Click File > Save As. Under Save As type, select web page.
Now, check the output folder for the picture.

Open the presentation you received. Add a blank slide to the presentation.
Set it's layout to have no placeholders. File--> Save as... JPEG (or
whatever graphic style you want). When prompted all slides or current slide,
choose current slide.

If you have PowerPoint 2002/xp or 2003, you can right-click on a blank spot
of your slide and choose "Save background" from the context menu.

Best regards,
Ute
