Extracting Parts Of A Cell

I'm trying to break down a single cell and put it into
three other cells. What I have is values similar to
these .050 X 4 X 8 and 5/16 OD X .035 WALL X 32. The one
commonality is the "X" somtimes there's a space and
sometimes not. The result I'm trying to get is like this:
A B C D E F
Size Thk Length Width OD Wall
..050 x 4 x 8 .050 4 8
5/16 OD X .035 WALL X 32 32 5/16 .035

Can this be done?

Hi Joe..........

First, make sure you have your data backed up. Then, make sure you have
several empty columns to the right of your column with the data. Then,
Select the column and do Data > Text to Columns > Delimited, and choose X as
your delimiter and follow the menu on out......

Then, once the data is split out into columns, you might want to do Edit >
Replace >, and "Replace" OD with (nothing, leave that window blank) then hit
Replace all.....

Give it a try, and if you run into problems, post back.......someone will
help.
