Extracting sounds

i have recorded sounds on my presentation and i wonder if there is a way to
get them out of the presentation to edit them with an other program. it seems
that the sound has been recorded within the slideshow but i am not shure.
I have not imported the sound in the slide, i have recorded it directly in
powerpoint.
So my question is can i edit those sounds with an other program and can i
find those sounds in a folder somwhere in my computer?

Philippe,
Have you tried saving your presentation as a web page. This should create a
folder with the presentations name and all components including your sounds
in it.
