I am unable to send mail. Receiving is ok.
Need suggestions how to set up the firewall.
I can't send mail using Verizon online, nor yahoo mail.
Verizon (via Outlook) responds with some errors about can't connect to
server, contact your ISP provider, etc. Verizon (directly from IE6) just sits
there and sending goes nowhere. Yahoo mail (directly from IE6) simply crashes
with 'error on page' and/or never gives me my address list.
In addition to the firewall, Norton Virus is running. Here, per Norton
suggestion, I shut off scan on outgoing mail.
All the outlook settings for Verizon match what is recommended on this site.
