F9 F10 and F11 Keys in 10.3

Now that Panther has reserved these keys for Exposé, how can one get these
keys to function in Word without changing them in Exposé?

AFAIK, you can't, at least not without using Applescripts on startup
and shutdown of the Office apps - setting the function keys in
Exposé preempts using them in Word. However, both Exposé and Word
v.X are almost completely customizable - you can either remap (my
choice) the functions in Exposé, or remap the functions within Word.
