F9 Key for totals

Transfer from onyx to access database

Why would you need to press the F9 key in order to total a subtotal after
entering a new value into a cell?

Because you have automatic calculation turned off.

To turn it on, go to Tools--Options-_Calculation and check automatic
calculation.

So it this in the spreadsheet when it is open or just opeing Excel? BTW,
sorry I don't know why or how it linked this question with my header for
access...
