Failed responses, how can I track these?

I send out email and I get back failed responses. I would like to track
these, and then flag the contact as needing an updated email.

There are so many different "delivery" notices, and sometimes, even looking
in the message, I can not find the email.

Is there a way that I can tell, if a reciept is from somebody, not the
server, and also if it is a fail, a success, a READ or delete? I do request
READ RECIEPT and Delivery Reciepts for the emails I want to track.
