FAILURE TO Launch

all my MS office 2k4 apps are failing to launch on my dual g4. was
working fine one day, they next i get a dialog box reading;

Application Launch Failure
The application "Entourage" could not be launched because of a shared
library error: *.<Microsoft Enourage><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_AE><>"


and that is the error i recieve for entourage, word, excel and
powerpoint

any ideas??

Nasty... I can only suspect you've had a Disk failure.

In your System/Library/CFMSupport folder there should be a file named
CarbonLib

You might want to check that it's there. If you have a disk recovery tool
(e.g. DiskWarrior) you might want to run that.

Failing that, if your system is otherwise running normally, run the Remove
Office utility from your Office CD, then re-install (I would run the
installer, rather than do a drag-and-drop...). Office will find CarbonLib
and configure itself to use it.
