I'm not sure that my French is up to your question (by the way,
don't shout!) but I believe you are asking for a sum over
non-contiguous cells. Just CTRL/CLICK the cells when writing the
formula. The SUMIF worksheet function might also work.

Hello

It translates as "How do you arrange the cells in Excel when they do not follow in order"

Bye

But the translation of "somme" is sum, total, amount or summary,
AFAIK.

Hello Mr James

I live here in Montreal where there is 2 official languages. One of them is French. I am completely fluent in French but what Fatou has written believe me that is what he said.and asked Words in many languages take up many meanings depending where and how it is used in a sentence In this case the question was as I have written. No big deal just pointing it out..

Bye

I certainly defer to superior knowledge of idioms but I'm now
darned if I know what is wanted :) Is it sorting that is
wanted or what?

I might just add that the OP stands a much better chance of an
answer if the posting is transferred to the French language
group: microsoft.public.fr.excel. This seems quite a popular
group.

The function =SUM() is =SOMME() in the French version.
