Faster Opening of Office documents

My office documents used to open much faster. I noticed that an office
shortcut in the Windows startup folder has disappeared. Can someone tell me
how to reinstall this office shortcut in the startup folder?

Whoopsie! If you have Windows XP run System restore. You may also open
office application, click Help, Detect and Repair, and it should restore
shortcuts.
