I am also getting the "fatal error during installation message" popup. There
are no other errors or messages during the installation. I do not even get
to the point of entering the registration code. Seems to be a pretty regular
error for OneNote according to the posts on the internet.
I am using the trial software download from the microsoft site.
I have a new Dell E510 with raid running Windows XP Media Center with latest
updates.
Antivirus is turned off.
One other post recommended to unzip the files to a directory on the
harddrive an within the setup .ini file to change the "Cache=Auto" to
"cache=0" which did not work for me.
Any other suggestions?
