whilst trying to apply the latest spam-filter update for Outlook 2003 I came
across a fatal installation error, which could not be solved with the Office
build-in repair feature and hence looking for some here. An extract of the
log reads as follows:

nobody any idea of how to resolve, because deinstallation doesn't work either

Thanks for the hint. Though there are various error sources listed for one
error and I was not able to narrow down the purpetrator. It seems that
something went south with the installer anyway and thus I cleaned it up and
re-installed the application. At least it works now again...

Cheers
