fax monitor auto answer

My fax monitor will not auto answer after the phone rings for a number of
times.

You will need to determine what your modem is set to Autoanswer at. I
would suggest Windows Help( click on the desktop and then press F1) and
enter "Modem" and "Fax setup" as a starting point.

If you are using the Windows XP FAX Console, open the program and go to
Tools, Configure Fax. Run the configuration Wizard and you can select to
answer manually or after a set number of rings.

If you are using another FAX application, check Help for that application.
