Outlook search folders should support searching tasks, contacts, meetings,
notes, etc., not just mail messages.
Search folders are an excellent productivity enhancer. I have search folders
set up to sort my mail into "I need to take action" "I'm waiting for some
event to take action" and "For review at my convenience".
I also have a separate tasks folder where the status marks of "Not
Started/In Progress", "Waiting on someone else" and "deferred" convey
approximately the same meanings.
I would like to customize my "I need to take action" search folder to
display all items that are either { messages with red follow up flag } or {
task items with "not started" or "In progress" status }. This would allow me
to see everything that I need to do in one spot.
