Fetch Custom Field Data from External Tasks

If I display the custom field columns in a MSP 2007 schedule that contains
external tasks, the custom fields do not display the information that is in
that task's source schedule. Is there a way to use an enterprise custom field
that fetches & displays the content of the custom fields? I want to be able
to look at ghost tasks in a schedule but see all of the task information, not
just the name, dates, work. Even the resource names from the external
schedule do not appear in the "ghost task" and I would like them to display
in the referncing schedule. I am on Project Server 2007.

You will need to develop PSI code in Project Server or VBA code in Project
pro to do this.
