Field Can not be updated

I am trying to create a macro
I have Goto Control-and that works
In my main form I have combo boxes to where you can choose information.
When i click the add button which houses the macro, In control
[ClassStartDate] in the subform I want [Forms]![Training: Add Completed
Class]![ClassStartDate]
When I get this far and try to run it, it says it can not be updated. What
am I missing?
