Field not centered vertically in row

Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Processor: Intel I have a row as a single cell with a label and a field. I cut the field out of the single row (but not the label) and then split the cell into 2 columns and pasted the cut field into the new cell in that row. The label in the original cell remains vertically centered. However, the pasted field does not become centered in the new cell despite the click on the Centered icon in Vertical Alignment.

Any suggestions"

Thanks.

I would insert a new row, split it, then copy both parts in. Chances are
instead of splitting, you have inserted the new cell as a nested table.

Hope this helps
