field not visible if null value

I have a "remarks" field that will only be used occasionally and in the
interest of not having many repeated blanks on a report, I'd like the field
not to be visible unless there are values in the field.

Can this be done?
Any input is appreciated!

As posted alll the time, set the "can shrink" property to true.

Or, make the field only one pixel tall and set the "can grow" property to
true.

If you will do a search, you should find tons of examples out there.
