Field only displays {FORMTEXT}

I have created a form within a Word Template. This form works great on 98%
of our employees PCs; however, on the other 2% it displays the template as it
should but the fields are all displayed as gray boxes with {FORMTEXT} and
will not accept any input.
On the same PC you can login as a different user and the form works as it
was designed to. I suspect the problem to be in the options; however I can
not find the answer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to toggle fields (Alt+F9), but you can't do this while you're in a
protected form. You have to close the form, toggle fields, then reopen the
form.

That's the action that the Alt+F9 shortcut does. But if the document is
protected, the Field Codes checkbox is grayed in the Options dialog, so you
can't do it that way either. You must be in an unprotected document first.
