I want to print a document that inserts the date on each page - not the current date - in wffect i want to print a "diary" - i presume a field code could pull in a list of dates generated in Excel (easy to generate a colum of sequential dates in excel) - but how can i pull them into a Word 2013 document?

You could use a mailmerge, with the dates pulled in from Excel, or you could do it entirely in Word via a macro or field coding. The field coding solution would be complex - see Calculate a Date Sequence in my Microsoft Word Date Calculation Tutorial, available at:

&:

Do read the document's introductory material.
