This is a nightmare!
I have been working on this document since last week. HOURS a day. Everytime
I need to change something, it screws everything else up!!!
I have a cover page (table of contents) that has Figure contends and Table
contends and shows which page these figures and tables are on.
HOWEVER, all the sudden it doesn't show 4 of my pp slides in the figure of
contends part of the TOC. I've tried everything and nothing will map to these
pictures to show what page they are on in the 'Figures' part of the TOC.
Also, I need the Figures of contents to CAPITALIZE the Figures listed in the
Figures TOC. IT DOES NOT. I Caps 2 but not 2 others, even though they are
CAPS in the caption part of the reference thingy.
I HATE MS. It has drove me crazy every time I have to work on complex
documents. NOTHING BUT problems, every freakin time! Not just one document
out of 20 but TWENTY of TWENTY that need to be updated and should only take a
half hour end up taking jDAYS for each freaking document. WHY THE HELL Can't
MS get their programming together??? I have been fired from 2 positions
because people think I don't know what I'm doing. In fact I have a taken Word
classes up the ying yang and classed NEVER DISCUSS handle these kinds of
FREAKY problems! I need to send this document to someone who can DOCUMENT
STEP BY STEP HOW TO FIX IT and then tell me how to deal with the millions of
other documents I have to update every year or so.
